Thank you for stopping by, and welcome to my little corner of the Internet! You’ll never know how much it means to me. Creating a fashion blog has been a dream of mine for about 10 years now, and I’m so excited to finally see it come to light! I thought I would start things off with 10 things about me so you can get to know the girl behind the blog!
- For as long I can remember, I have had a love for fashion, which definitely started with my love for shopping (thank you, Grandma!).
- I had a fashion column that I wrote with a friend of mine in grade school for our school newspaper – I believe I was in 4th grade. It was called The Style File. So you might say I’ve always wanted to write about fashion!
- I am an accountant by day, which really inspired me to design a creative outlet where I could do something I’m passionate about.
- I have been married to my husband, Jason, for almost 1.5 years and we live in Denver, Colorado.
- I may live in Colorado, which is known for all of its outdoor activities, but I would describe myself as “Indoorsy.” I’ll go on the occasional hike, but you definitely won’t find me camping…
- I am a Midwestern girl at heart. I was born and raised (until high school) in the Midwest and I will always love it!
- Reading is one of my favorite pastimes. There’s just something about finishing a book that makes me feel like I accomplished something.
- My absolute favorite holiday is Christmas! I always listen to Christmas music the first time it snows, which in Colorado, often happens in September or October.
- I worked in retail for nearly 5 years. My favorite part was dressing women and seeing how confident the right outfit made them! I hope to do that here.
- I’m not a morning person, but I also don’t drink coffee. I’ve just never liked the taste! I do, however, love a good chai latte (with pumpkin in the fall) either hot or cold from: where else? Starbucks!
